Size Limit: Pauva - Up to 5 feet
Statue Up to 24 inches
Eligibility: Open to individual artists only
Participation Criteria:
- Artwork must follow Newari stylization
- Submitter must submit an original art piece
- Submitter must be an artist
Submission Process:
Artwork must be submitted to Bodhisattva Foundation no later than January 6, 2024, at Bodhisattva Gallery, Kupondole, Lalitpur along with a high-resolution soft/digital copy of the artwork for the catalog.
Judging Criteria:
Three senior artists will judge the top ten submissions from their respective categories. Art submissions will be judged on:
- Creativity
- Composition/Color
- Iconography
- Overall Impact
Prize:
1st Place: Rs.50,000/-
2nd Place: Rs.20,000/-
3rd Place: Rs.10,000/-
Announcement of Winners:
Winners will be announced on January 20, 2024, during the inaugural exhibition.
Sale of Artwork
All submissions must be put on sale during the exhibition. Artists must provide a valuation of the artwork during submission.
Copyright:
By entering the competition, participants grant non-exclusive rights to use the submitted artworks for promotional purposes. The copyright of the artworks remains with the respective artists.
